Asset Management Intern Job Summary The primary function of the Asset Management Intern will be to assist with asset management and reporting functions for existing assets. This person will work closely with Operations and Facilities/Construction to support the needs of the department and gain valuable insight into our on-site operations, unit interior upgrade program, and portfolio capital expenditure management. Essential Functions · Measure the effectiveness of capital improvement/rehab programs · Help to prepare, assemble, and distribute various ad hoc reports and presentations · Create, maintain, and interpret financial data · Reconcile and report on various asset management initiatives across the Camden portfolio · Participate in department initiatives and special projects Requirements · Must be a student currently enrolled in a Finance, Real Estate or Accounting program; Master’s program preferred · Sales, customer service, and management minded individual with attention to detail is required · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) · Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles · Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines and workload · Excellent verbal and written communication skills Visit our Benefits webpage Camden Benefits This job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities.
