Description
Are you an insightful problem solver looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team? We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support our Asset Management (AM) business where we manage US$2.8 trillion in assets for our clients and deliver what matters most to individuals, families, companies, and communities. As a Middle Office Analyst within the Asset Management team, you will collaborate with internal business and technology partners, global and regional functions, and external vendors and counterparties. You will manage end-to-end middle office operations, including trade management, IBOR, and vendor oversight. You will support the Front Office with Start of Day checks and Cash Management, ensuring close coordination with portfolio managers, dealers, brokers, operations teams, custodians, and service vendors for updates, issue follow-ups, and escalations. You will also lead and coordinate projects and changes to support business growth and process enhancements. Job responsibilities: Perform end-to-end middle office operations, including front office support, trade management, asset servicing management, and investment accounting data accuracy. Manage projects and initiatives such as process improvement, business model changes, system implementation, new product or market rollouts, and other ad hoc projects. Identify areas for improvement and implement new procedures or changes to existing process flows to ensure robust front-to-back controls. Establish strong relationships across the business, risk, technology, and other support groups. Collaborate with stakeholders (portfolio managers, compliance, controls, risk, client service, operations, internal and external service providers) to design and drive comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English to interact with local and international stakeholders. Flexibility in approach and the ability to show initiative and respond quickly to changing situations. Proven experience in delivering complex business and IT system-related changes. Excellent client-facing skills, with experience managing client relationships in external or front office environments. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver results to a high standard, escalating where required. Positive “can do” attitude in all aspects of job duties. Senior Securities Broker license or Securities Investment Trust and Consulting license is required. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Knowledge of market products (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Fund of Funds, Money Market) and associated pre/post trade operational processes, with functional expertise in middle office, settlements, or asset services for cash equities. Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of relevant work experience; middle office experience within the asset management industry preferred. Strong proficiency in Mandarin and English is an advantage. CFA designation is an advantage.
