Senior SQL Server Database Analyst Senior-level SQL Server Database Analyst with 5+ years of experience in enterprise environments Primary focus on collaborating with application teams to enhance performance, analyze query issues, and provide tuning recommendations Skilled in T-SQL development, including writing and optimizing stored procedures, queries, and interpreting execution plans Works in tandem with managed service teams for patching, monitoring, and operational execution, while owning advanced troubleshooting and escalation Hands-on experience with Always-On Availability Groups and exposure to Distributed Availability Groups, including Automatic Seeding and multi-replica environments Familiar with SQL Server administration fundamentals including backups, patching, restores, and log shipping Comfortable supporting both on-prem and Azure SQL environments (IaaS/PaaS), with growing exposure to cloud-based DR models Proficient in Azure SQL PaaS operations, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and diagnostics in a cloud-native architecture Able to write basic automation scripts using PowerShell and support database health monitoring Awareness of security and compliance practices, including role-based access, encryption, and audit trails Effective communicator, team-oriented, and comfortable partnering across development and infrastructure teams Based in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone (preferred: New Jersey, Louisville, or Atlanta) and available during standard business hours Basic Qualifications 5-7 years of SQL Server Database Performance Engineering 5 years of T-SQL Development 5 years of SQL patching, monitoring, and advanced troubleshooting About NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
