We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Manager to join our Government & Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and performance of asset management systems. Reporting to the Contract Director, you'll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our essential services.   What You’ll Do   Through collaboration, compliance, and continuous improvement, the Asset Manager ensures excellence that supports contract mobilisation, operational readiness, and long-term value creation.   This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: * Deliver services on time, on budget and in line with contract requirements and Downer policies, procedures, and processes. * Ensure all aspects of service delivery performance are monitored and reported, including Zero Harm, quality, commercial, financial, people and customer satisfaction outcomes via the way of collating monthly reports. * Oversee technical support, environmental sustainability initiatives, building certification and fire safety compliance. * Follow policies, procedures, work practices, laws and regulations and embed safety in all work activities. * Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders and internal leaders, fostering a culture of shared success and continuous improvement.   What You’ll Bring * Trade qualified, preferably Electrical is essential. * Diploma in engineering – Mechanical or Electrical. * Experience in the FM industry, with proven expertise in electrical and generation infrastructure and network operations. * Strong technical knowledge of asset management systems and processes. * A comprehensive understanding of contemporary energy management, environmental and sustainability and whole-of-life principles, practices and legislation.   More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.   Why Downer?
