to join our newly established institutional family office team at Haniel. In this role, you will help build and manage a broadly diversified, institutional-grade multi-asset portfolio from the very beginning. Your focus will be on selecting and monitoring external asset managers, rather than direct investing.
You will work closely with the CIO and engage directly with senior leadership. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership in a lean, agile environment with flat hierarchies, minimal legacy structures, and high visibility from day one. You will have ample opportunity to grow and specialize as we mature.

Identify, select, and monitor external asset managers across asset classes
Drive investment-related projects and manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Help shape the asset management function in a “white paper” environment with high degrees of freedom and responsibility
Your Profile
3–5 years of relevant work experience in a family office, asset management, or asset management-related consulting services
Broad investment knowledge across asset classes and products
Strong project management skills and a hands-on, self-starting mindset

Challenging, high-impact role with real responsibility from day one
