ASSET MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in asset management, real estate investment, or property management
  • Experience managing a portfolio of mixed-use, commercial, industrial, or residential properties
  • Background in institutional real estate, REITs, private equity, or asset advisory services
  • Proven success in enhancing asset value, optimizing returns, or executing on repositioning strategies
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, rent rolls, and operating statements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with budgeting, performance benchmarking, and variance analysis
    Asset Manager Salary:
    $100,000 - $130,000 + Bonus 10-15%, Benefits, Education, Project diversity and stability!

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of multi-residential assets across various regions.
  • Monitor property performance against budgets, forecasts, and benchmarks.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce operating costs.
  • Support budgeting, reforecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Work closely with property management teams to ensure properties are maintained at high standards.
  • Monitor leasing activity, rent collections.
  • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate building condition, cleanliness, tenant experience, and management performance.
  • Monitor lease-up strategies, renewals, rent adjustments, and vacancy levels.
  • Analyze rental market trends and recommend adjustments to leasing strategies or rental rates.
  • Review marketing efforts and tenant retention plans to support occupancy targets.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely resolution of work orders.
  • Support in the selection and evaluation of third-party vendors, service providers, and contractors.
  • Ensure properties are compliant with health and safety standards and municipal codes.
  • Assist in performance evaluations for site-level staff and offer guidance on improvements.
  • Coordinate tenant surveys and act on feedback to improve service quality and tenant retention
