As a Vice President in Global Custody Asset Servicing Middle Office Risk, you manage risk for complex voluntary corporate actions and income events from event inception through payment, ensuring accuracy, control, and client confidence. You lead subject matter experts, drive process improvements using strategic tools, and serve as a trusted escalation point across operations and client‑facing teams. You’ll work in a collaborative, inclusive environment where we value clear communication, sound judgment, and continuous learning. Job responsibilities * Provide subject matter expertise on corporate actions and income across asset classes, from event creation to entitlement and payment, ensuring strong risk and control execution. * Lead a team of subject matter experts; set priorities, coach, and deliver continuous feedback to elevate performance and quality. * Serve as the escalation contact for complex queries and breaks; triage issues, drive root‑cause analysis, and implement durable fixes. * Recommend and implement process enhancements using strategic tools, including analytics and automation platforms, to improve accuracy, timeliness, and scalability. * Partner with client‑facing Middle Office, Client Service, and core processing teams to resolve issues end‑to‑end and align on client outcomes. * Identify, mitigate, and escalate operational risks; maintain clear, complete documentation and adhere to control standards. * Monitor key performance and risk indicators; use data to prioritize improvements and report status to stakeholders. * Drive change initiatives and contribute to firmwide programs that modernize asset servicing capabilities. * Support cross‑regional coverage, including EMEA hours when required, to maintain consistent service and risk oversight. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Extensive experience in corporate actions processing covering voluntary and income events across asset classes. * Deep knowledge of the end‑to‑end asset servicing lifecycle and associated risks, including event setup, election capture, entitlement calculation, and payment. * Strong understanding of accounting entries for corporate actions and income. * Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage escalations, with clear decision‑making and accountability. * Proven record of driving process improvements using data and automation tools. * Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose operational and technical issues and deliver sustainable solutions. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across operations and senior stakeholders. * Self‑motivated, organized, and effective under tight timeframes while collaborating as part of a team. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Experience with analytics or workflow tools that enable process automation and dashboarding. * Exposure to client service and Middle Office environments supporting institutional clients. * Experience across trade, cash, foreign exchange, and reconciliation processes within custody or investment operations. * Ability to balance analytical rigor with strong interpersonal skills in high‑stakes stakeholder interactions.   J.P.
