Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Reporting to our Asset Ops Specialist, you’ll be one of the key people making sure our vans are safe, reliable and ready to roll. You’ll help manage our fleet across Aus and NZ coordinating maintenance, sorting out any unexpected hiccups, and making sure everything’s running smoothly behind the scenes. It’s a hands-on, get-stuff-done kind of role where you’ll be working closely with our Vehicle Leaders, partners, suppliers and contractors to keep services running and support our volunteers and friends in the community.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (IN A NUTSHELL)

  • Helping our vehicles stay roadworthy, safe and ready for action
  • Jumping in to coordinate maintenance and respond to incidents with urgency and effective resolutions
  • Supporting repairs, upgrades, and new builds of our vehicles
  • Travelling to services as needed to provide on-the-ground support
  • Contributing to develop and implement strategies to improve and expand community impact with a focus on building service efficiency and stakeholder support programs
  • Building strong, ongoing relationships with Vehicle Leaders, providing regular updates and support to keep them engaged and informed
  • Building strong connections with our team, volunteers, and external partners and suppliers
  • Pitching in with stock and inventory tasks
  • Using data and info to help make smart decisions and improve how we rollBeing the go-to person when a van’s having a bad day
