YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will lead ABB Marine & Ports Asset Performance Management (APM) initiatives by designing and implementing cutting-edge digital solutions that monitor the condition and performance of critical marine systems – including drives, control equipment, and Azipod® propulsion systems.
By utilizing the latest technologies and data-driven solutions, you will help ensure the best possible user experience and operational reliability in the market – supporting our mission to deliver smarter, safer, and more sustainable marine operations.

THE WORK MODEL FOR THE ROLE IS: HYBRID, #LIHYBRIDYOU WILL BE MAINLY ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

• Designing and implementing Asset solutions (condition monitoring, predictive/prescriptive maintenance, digital twin).
• Managing software-driven monitoring.
• Applying reliability engineering and data analytics.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with software, warranty, automation and digital teams.
• Managing digital projects from scoping to field deployment, overseeing budgets and timelines.
• Supporting global client-facing roles, ensuring performance transparency and value delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Degree in Software Engineering, Automation, Marine Engineering, or related field.
• Several years of experience in software product management, digital project leadership, and warranty oversight.
• Knowledge in propulsion systems (Azipod®, drives) and marine automation.
• Profiency in condition monitoring tools
• Understanding of cybersecurity
• A mindset to innovate, take ownership, and promote continuous improvement.
