This role works in the Maintenance Solutions team and is responsible for the seamless service delivery to tenants ensuring that their maintenance concerns are effectively resolved, especially maintenance issues of a complex nature that require additional diagnosis, investigation and co-ordination of resources across Homes NSW to facilitate the required outcome. The role works with a team of staff with skills and expertise in asset maintenance who work in collaboration with the Maintenance Response Centre to deliver on the Maintenance Solutions team’s intent of providing first time solutions to tenant’s that report maintenance issues.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Asset Performance Officer in the Maintenance Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering timely, accurate, and effective determinations on complex maintenance matters.
Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including the appropriate delivery of works and develop action plans to address any work-related issues when necessary. Ensure compliance with Australian Building Codes, Housing Portfolio standards, policies, and contract requirements when assigning work to contractors and conduct timely, accurate desktop reviews according to the program and standards, maintaining thorough records of inspections and required actions.
Building and nurturing positive relationships with contractors will be paramount to facilitating effective inspection and maintenance programs, while also collaboratively resolving any compliance issues that may arise. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting emerging issues to management and providing recommendations to continually enhance asset program delivery and minimise impacts.
