Your Responsibilities

1. Demand Forecasting

  • Develop short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using:
    • Historical data
    • Market trends
    • Promotions
    • Product launches
  • Measure forecast accuracy and correct variances.

2. Process Transformation

  • Design and implement a global demand-planning process.
  • Establish common:
    • Planning methods
    • Planning calendars
    • Roles and responsibilities
  • Continuously improve the planning process.

3. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

  • Lead the demand-planning component of the monthly S&OP cycle.
  • Bring teams together around consensus forecasts.
  • Present scenarios, risks, and opportunities to senior management.

4. Systems, Data & Analytics

  • Optimize the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Improve data reliability and quality.
  • Develop dashboards in collaboration with IT and business teams.

5. Performance & KPIs

Define and monitor KPIs related to:

  • Forecast accuracy
  • Forecast bias
  • Inventory turnover
  • Inventory health
  • Service levels

Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with:

  • Sales
  • Marketing
  • Product Management
  • Finance
  • Operations
  • Procurement

The objective is to align demand, capacity, inventory, and financial objectives.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Business Administration
    • Operations Management
    • Engineering
    • Statistics
    • Finance
    • Or another related field

Experience

  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in:
    • Demand planning
    • Forecasting
    • Supply chain planning
    • S&OP
  • Experience designing and implementing demand-planning processes.
  • Experience with transformation projects and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and integrated planning practices in:
    • Manufacturing
    • Distribution
    • Consumer products
  • International experience is preferred.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Advanced Excel
  • Statistical forecasting methods
  • Power BI or an equivalent analytics tool

Communication & Leadership

Ability to:

  • Translate complex analysis into practical recommendations
  • Mobilize and coordinate multiple teams
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management

Language

  • French and English bilingualism, both spoken and written, is required to collaborate with international suppliers and partners.

Travel

  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% of the time when required.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • APICS CSCP
  • IBF CPF or equivalent certification
  • Experience across multiple regions of North America and Europe

    • Advanced Planning Systems (APS)
