We’re committed to reconciliation and supporting the self-determined role for Traditional Owners/Custodians in water and land management.

DID YOU KNOW?

Research shows that men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, while women and other marginalised people tend to only apply when they meet all of them. So, if you think you have what it takes, but don’t necessarily tick every box, please apply or get in touch. We’d love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

You’ll be instrumental in monitoring performance and supporting a wide range of PMO activities - from Stage Gate reviews and project assurance to governance and compliance processes. With a strong focus on quality and consistency, you’ll provide critical support to stakeholders across the asset business, including team leaders and divisional managers.
Your expertise in governance, PPM systems and business administration will help keep projects on track, aligned with strategic objectives and equipped with the insights needed for confident, informed decision-making.
As a flexible and collaborative team player, you’ll contribute across multiple PMO functions - bringing structure, clarity and momentum to complex initiatives. This is a key role that keeps the engine of the portfolio running smoothly and efficiently.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform assurance functions including quality checking of project artefacts to ensure compliance with agreed standards.
  • Run project Stage Gates, including being responsible for providing an Asset PMO decision in line with YVW’s Governance Framework to feed governance committee’s decision making.
  • Provide portfolio coaching and training, to a variety of stakeholders across the asset business on key data, processes and artefacts.
  • Build and maintain partnerships across the asset teams and act as the point of contact for PMO related queries.
  • Advise on fit for purpose reporting improvements.
  • Super user for the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Tool including user management, tool setup and monitoring, report extraction, end user guide creation, user training and support. In the future, this role will play a role in implementing and supporting the rollout of a new PPM Tool.
