The Asset Protection Manager, reporting to the Director of Security, will lead the delivery and ongoing enhancement of security risk, compliance, and safety management across The Star Sydney property. This role is responsible for independently planning, conducting, and delivering security risk assessments and mitigation strategies across all property areas and major events, while serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on both operational and strategic risk matters. A few of your responsibilities: * Own incident management across the operational security function * Ensure significant incidents undergo structured review, including root cause and control gap analysis * Partner with operational leadership on workforce planning, deployment, and structural improvements * Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and risk outcomes * Act as Operations Manager for major events and primary liaison between clients and the security team What we are looking for: * Current NSW Security Industry Licence * Senior First Aid Certification * Certificate IV in Security Risk Analysis * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Advanced conflict resolution and incident management skills * Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Gambling accreditation About you: You are an experienced Asset Protection or Security leader with a proven ability to manage risk in complex, fast‑paced environments. You bring a balanced approach that combines strong operational leadership with strategic thinking, and you are confident making sound, independent decisions that protect people, assets, and reputation.
