Description

Our growing Oakville client who is a leader in the Financial industry is looking for an Asset Remarketing Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years related experience and the following are the responsibilities:
This position reports to the Supervisor, Asset Recovery. The Asset Remarketing Coordinator plays a vital role in maximizing the value of recovered assets through efficient and strategic management of the remarketing process. This individual works closely with remarketing vendors and partners to evaluate asset condition, negotiate sales offers, and ensure accurate, timely invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with remarketing vendors and partners to: o Assess condition and valuation of assets o Ensure timely sale of recovered assets o Review, approve, or counter sales offers o Reassess remarketing strategies and reassign assets as needed
  • Determine Fair Market Value using comparable recent sale data and relevant industry metrics for a variety of asset types, including esthetic, hospitality, construction and transportation.
  • Review asset condition reports for accuracy and use them to help establish sale pricing * Prepare and process invoices for asset sales accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed and current records of all assets, including status, valuation, sale details, and invoicing
  • Conduct and interpret various searches and due diligence activities related to PPSA registrations including RSLA follow-up tasks, invoicing and work orders and provide recommendations on course of action.
  • Provide recommendations to management based on asset data and market conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
The Asset Remarketing Coordinator must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. The candidate should have strong negotiation skills, experience reading PPSA searches and have strong knowledge of various assets. A positive and professional attitude with the ability to work well both in a team environment as well as individually is crucial. The successful candidate must be organized and accurate. Strong written and oral communication skills are required and proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must.

Qualifications:

  • A University or college degree in a business-related field is preferred * At least 2-5 years of work experience in a similar role is required * Knowledge of the leasing or finance industry is also considered an asset

Hours 9am-5pm
Please note that this is a hybrid role and requires you to be in office 3 days a week and 2 days from home.
