The Asset Management team at Merseyrail is expanding, and an exciting opportunity to be part of project delivery has arisen. The successful candidate will have the chance to work alongside the Asset Project Managers on major renewal and enhancement projects across the Merseyrail network and beyond.
In this newly created position, the successful candidate will utilise transferable expertise, will guide the development and implementation of transformative projects, ensuring that they not only meet but exceed expectations. The individual will serve as the accountable and responsible client representative, collaborating closely with project development and delivery teams to achieve outstanding results for passengers, customers, and stakeholders alike. The ability to build and nurture effective relationships will be crucial in balancing the diverse needs of clients and the industry while advancing Merseyrail’s objectives.
The Asset Management team is seeking an individual who thrives in dynamic environments and is adept at navigating complex situations to successfully deliver on projects. Confidence in handling intricate information and a strong sense of independence are essential for taking the lead. The successful candidate will provide oversight to ensure that each project realises its benefits within the agreed scope, time, and budget - while fostering positive relationships with clients and involved parties.
There is a unique opportunity to immerse in the Merseyrail Sponsorship function, gaining insights and capabilities by shadowing, managing, and supporting the Lead Asset Sponsor as future opportunities in the growing programme are explored.
