Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

The Asset Surveyor is responsible for delivering high-quality surveying and capital investment services that align with customer needs, organisational goals, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, condition, and performance of housing stock through professional inspections, assessments, and technical reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive stock condition surveys and property inspections, including health and safety assessments, to support compliance and asset management objectives.
  • Manage works associated with inspections within defined financial limits, and in line with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Produce detailed reports, specifications, and documentation for tenders and remedial actions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, addressing service shortfalls and ensuring high standards of delivery.
  • Support the cyclical maintenance programme, including resident consultation and stakeholder liaison.
  • Contribute to special programmes or projects that support broader organisational values and strategic aims.
