We're seeking a talented individual to undertake pivotal activities focusing on asset investment system (PIONEER) configuration to enable the business to carry out asset deterioration modelling, cost estimation and optimisation of investment plans. As our Asset Systems Specialist, you'll support the management of the system(s) supporting asset investment planning by setting up, calibrating and testing of mathematical models, maintaining asset base data within the system. Whether it's within the Pioneer Suite or any future system adopted by the business, your role will drive efficiency and innovation. Your responsibilities will encompass being the system(s) admin, effectively translating business requirements into system needs. You'll be involved in software release and user acceptance testing and respond to testing feedback/findings by carrying out system configurations and reporting mechanisms updates. Additionally, you'll provide technical and developmental support, offering application leadership and guidance to system users. Collaboration is key! You'll be working closely with asset investment planning teams and IT-support teams, ensuring data integration for efficient operation. Furthermore, you'll be a guiding force, advising the business on leveraging system functionalities to enhance asset investment planning. Your expertise extends to offering comprehensive SQL, R, Python, advanced Excel and/or statistical analysis skillset to facilitate effective utilisation of the system(s).
