Asset Finance Asset Finance (“AF”) is a growth area within Private Credit, focusing on financings backed by physical and/or financial collateral. AF provides flexible funding solutions across the capital structure, engaging in a broad range of asset-based strategies that include RE financings/ specialty mortgages, consumer and SME loans, fund financing, trade receivables, hard asset financings and more. This is an opportunity to play an important role in the development and growth of our global asset finance platform and get exposure to a global team. The role we are looking for will encompass asset management and portfolio monitoring as we deploy client capital and grow the AF business. Role Description & Responsibilities AF is currently seeking Analysts to specialize in asset management across our portfolio and overall portfolio monitoring, a critical element of the overall investment process. This position description is intended to describe the duties most frequently performed by an individual in this position: Produce and present periodic portfolio company monitoring, including but not limited to asset performance, comparison vs. underwriting case, and key company developments, particularly those with implications for investment performance Maintain portfolio company models as part of the asset management process Track company compliance with financial covenants Prepare and maintain portfolio analytics for portfolio management purposes Participate in strategic projects regarding portfolio management, portfolio monitoring and performance tracking. Prepare and maintain investment and fund level statistics used for internal tracking, investor reporting as well as marketing materials Liaise across internal business teams and external counterparties to service investment level requests Skills and Experience We are Looking For 1+ years of work experience in fixed income at a bank, asset manager, rating agency, or other relevant financial institution Strong academic background with an MBA or Chartered Accountant or equivalent Accounting knowledge, valuation, and financial modeling aptitude Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Python Excellent written and verbal communication skills About Goldman Sachs At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital, and ideas to help our clients, shareholders, and the communities we serve to grow.
