The Opportunity Join Veolia and lead the strategic management of assets and contracts at the Woodlawn Eco-precinct, ensuring safe, compliant and cost-effective operations while driving innovation and sustainable outcomes. The Woodlawn Eco-Precinct is a world class facility consisting of 5 individual business units to provide the highest standard of waste and renewable energy management. In this role, you will oversee financial performance while managing operational risks through the implementation of the Veolia Asset Management standards, developing and maintaining maintenance management systems and overseeing operational contracts for the Woodlawn Eco-precinct site. What's on offer Monday to Friday Competitive salary package Opportunity to work in a high performing and collaborative team What you'll be responsible for Manage and optimise all assets and contracts at the Eco-precinct, including maintaining asset registers, overseeing maintenance systems and ensuring contractual compliance and performance. Drive profitability through process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, budget development, accrual management and financial performance reviews in collaboration with operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, management, National Veolia Resource Recovery Assets Manager and external stakeholders to resolve issues and implement solutions. Ensure operational excellence and compliance with environmental licenses, statutory regulations and Veolia policies while managing purchasing processes and contractor competency. Champion safety by promoting Veolia's Always Safe Charter, managing site risks, ensuring incident reporting, maintaining the Integrated Business Management System, and guaranteeing all staff and contractors work safely. What you'll need to be successful Required Demonstrated commercial and/or asset management experience or relevant tertiary qualification Demonstrated experience in asset and/or contract management. Demonstrated experience in commercial management including operational P&L, budgets, CAPEX and forecasting C Class Drivers license Desirable Degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting, Asset management or relevant discipline Experience in maintenance management systems and implementation Operational experience in commercial or asset management within a heavy industry, mining, waste management, civil/construction or similar Veolia’s AlwaysSafe culture means that we care about the safety of people on our sites.
