Position Description Position Title : Asset Manager Reports To : Manager of Asset and Customer Management Group Division : Business Operation Date : Prepared By : Feb 2026 Department : IG North and West China Sub-Region Reviewed By : Rosa Ren Approved By : Li Allan POSITION SUMMARY Purpose This position is accountable for managing the customer and government relationships in part of North and Northwest China. There are several TG site projects and other GG on-site customers. Nature and Scope The job holder is a member of the BOM team, who will be accountable for tonnage asset management and customer interface and responsible for the profit & loss for the appointed assets. DIMENSIONS Air Products Employees : Immediate : n/a Revenue $ million EBITDA $ million PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES The candidate is responsible for the general management of assets that assigned to him/her, and would consider other assets if possible. Responsibility for the profit & loss for the appointed assets, to get the monthly payment from customer in time, to execute the contract with customer and highlight monthly performance & work out / update action accordingly Overall customer engagement, contract negotiations and relationship management. Work closely with operation team to focus on site optimization to achieve the annual target. Develop and review the plant operation budget, including sales revenue and plant cost. Responsibility for driving CI initiatives and working closely with the supporting functional experts in the company such as CI, Global Operations, etc. Lead and work with supporting functions to communicate with relative government offers for tax, duties, business license/permits, utilities purchase etc. Liquid Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon management, including production coordination, tank level controlling/monitoring. Other potential products and assets profit & loss control. Supporting marketing and sales team on marketing intelligence collection, marketing survey. Develop new large-scale projects and achieve project targets in the assigned region. Engage with the commercial team to execute against priority growth and margin improvement. New opportunity bidding support in NWAP area. Accountable for government interface like tax, duties, utilities, business license/ permits, safety/ quality authorities, park officers etc., coordinating internal resources to provide timely feedback. Submit daily, weekly and monthly work plans and reports on time. Other assignment with the business development. JOB REQUIREMENTS Candidate will be based in Xi’an /Tianjin Candidate is expected to have a minimum of 8 years work experience in Asset Management, Business Development or Commercial working, and having experience on managing a sales/business team in industrial gases and Chemical related industries is a plus. Candidate is expected to have a bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering, Chemical or Commercial. Candidate is expected to have strong selling and interpersonal skills, who likes challenges and have ability to manage customers as well as influence internal stakeholders and local government departments; Have strong problem solving, leadership and management skills.
