The Registry is a key central administrative unit of the University supporting it in providing quality higher education. We administer and deliver a broad range of student and academic services, such as admissions, registration, quality assurance, class scheduling, examinations, and graduation. The Registry is also responsible for maintaining student records and providing secretarial support to Senate and its committees, and are integral in the governing of academic regulations of the University. We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Registry: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Providing professional student services such as processing various applications, and resolving student enquiries; Providing accurate and efficient clerical support, including but not limited to administrative tasks such as data entry, records handling, and operations logistics support; Providing professional frontline student services including emails and hotline service; Providing assessment and examination administration support such as assignments handling, exam timetabling, exam logistics support, etc.; Performing efficient office management duties such as forms update, recordkeeping and filing; and Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: At least 5 passes in HKCEE or 5 subjects with Level 2 or equivalentin HKDSE, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics; Good communication and writing skills in English and Chinese(preferably including Putonghua); Good computer skills including WORD, EXCEL and Chinese word processing; Capable of multi-tasking and attentive to details; and Be a good team player with strong sense of responsibility and motivation. *Applicants should indicate the results of HKCEE / HKDSE (or equivalent qualifications) in their applications.
