The Registry is a key central administrative unit of the University supporting it in providing quality higher education. We administer and deliver a broad range of student and academic services, such as admissions, registration, quality assurance, class scheduling, examinations, and graduation. The Registry is also responsible for maintaining student records and providing secretarial support to Senate and its committees, and are integral in the governing of academic regulations of the University. We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Registry: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Providing administrative support to the day-to-day operation of Undergraduate Enrolment Team of the Registry, including tasks related to course enrolment, registrations, student financials, student records, the student administration system, enquiry services, etc.; Performing efficient and accurate clerical and administrative duties such as applications handling, course enrolment processing, tuition fee calculation and collection, student visa processing, and record keeping; Providing professional frontline student services including counter, emails and hotline service; Providing support to supervisor(s) in coordination and liaison with Schools and Departments; Assisting supervisor(s) in the preparation of meetings, reports, audit exercises, website maintenance, publications, and student events; Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: At least 5 passes in HKCEE or 5 subjects with Level 2 or equivalent in HKDSE, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics; At least 1 year of clerical or administrative experience in higher education is preferred; Good communication and writing skills in English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua); Good computer skills including WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing and numerical sense; Ability to multi-tasking with a high level of accuracy and attentive to details; and Be a flexible and good team player with strong sense of responsibility and motivation. *Applicants should indicate the results of HKCEE / HKDSE (or equivalent qualifications) in their applications.
