The Registry is a key central administrative unit of the University supporting it in providing quality higher education. We administer and deliver a broad range of student and academic services, such as admissions, registration, quality assurance, class scheduling, examinations, and graduation. The Registry is also responsible for maintaining student records and providing secretarial support to Senate and its committees, and are integral in the governing of academic regulations of the University. We provide aspiring candidates with ample staff development opportunities and a promising career in higher education. We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Registry: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Providing administrative support to the day-to-day operation of the Registry, including class scheduling and tutors matters; Performing efficient administrative duties, such as preparing class scheduling data, venue booking and scheduling for programmes/courses; Providing professional frontline student services including processing various applications and resolving student enquiries via counter, emails and hotline service; Assisting supervisor(s) in webpage maintenance and student system maintenance; Providing accurate and efficient clerical support, including but not limited to administrative tasks such as data entry, records handling, and operational logistics support; Performing efficient office management duties and any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: At least 5 passes in HKCEE or 5 subjects with Level 2 or equivalent in HKDSE, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics; Good numerical sense and strong computer skills including MS Office with a preference for Excel abilities, and Chinese word processing; Good communication and writing skills in English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua); Capable of multi-tasking and attentive to details, and able to work under pressure; and Be a flexible and good team player with strong sense of responsibility and motivation. * Candidates should indicate the results of HKCEE / HKDSE (or equivalent qualifications) in their applications.
