JOB DESCRIPTION –

We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accommodation Manager to join our team. This ideal candidate must be flexible and available to work weekends when required .
Reporting to: Accommodation Manager/Deputy General Manager
Purpose of the role: To ensure that a 4 star standard is maintained at all times in the accommodation department while providing a high level of guest care.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accommodation department operates a guest focused manner; always striving to exceed guest expectations thereby building customer and brand loyalty.
  • Ensure all bedrooms are kept to a 4 star standard and ensuring that VIP rooms and guest requests are met at all times.
  • Ensuring that all new and existing procedures are adhered to in the accommodation department.
  • Liaise with the Front Office and Laundry departments daily; in order to ensure a smooth day to day operation.
  • To be actively involved in the training and development of all accommodation personal.
  • Organise staffing levels in order to operate efficiently; while complying with budget recommendations.
  • Aim to keep moral high in the accommodation department while contributing to the maintaining of a good and safe working environment.
  • Ensuring all public areas are cleaned and kept to 4 star standard.
  • Reporting and dealing with any maintenance issues where possible.
  • Ensuring the Laundry Department is operating effectively and that laundry requirements are met
