Description

As an Assistant Account Manager Running, you will be responsible for promoting the adidas running products, providing technical support, and building strong relationships with our running specialty partners to drive optimal sales results and gain long-term market share growth. Your deep understanding and passion for running will be essential in delivering exceptional service and driving sales.
Key Responsibilities

Account Management Tasks:

  • Knowledge and application of adidas strategy within the assigned customers and categories.
  • Build professional and personal relationships with key decision makers, buyers and store staff of assigned customers as a prerequisite for adidas to become a top tier supplier.
  • Regularly visiting assigned customers “Run Specialty Stores” to manage adidas stock levels and actively support on the shop floor (active sales support).
  • Continuously monitor sell-out and backlog (orderbook management) to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply to the customer. Identify and capture sales opportunities for the customer.
  • Represent assigned customers internally as ‘ambassador for the category’ to all functions and vice versa and manage interfaces.
  • Deliver compelling presentations of seasonal products and marketing concepts to buying teams and store owners.
  • Leverage market insights - in terms of knowledge of the competitive landscape and trends in relevant distribution channels - to influence buying decisions leading to adidas sales and growth.

Events & Training Tasks:

  • Proactively support the Wholesale Activation Manager with execution of grassroots activities with customers to enhance brand image as well as drive demand with customers (sales growth).
  • Organize and ensure availability of relevant training materials in collaboration with the adidas Brand Coach Team.
  • Implement seasonal product training to dedicated customers.
  • Review training materials received from Global/Europe and adapt the training to the requirements of the local market while maintaining the integrity of the course and its learning objectives to ensure consistent delivery across Europe.
  • Represent the brand on events and campaigns.
