Responsibilities

Working for Wye River Insurance, the Assistant Account Manager is responsible for the effective management of accounts under the direction of a Client Executive/Manager. Working with the Client Executive/Manager, the Assistant Account Manager will help assess the risk management needs of prospects and clients and will market new and renewal accounts. The Assistant Account Manager will handle issuance of certificate and policy endorsement and billing processing. This is a hybrid role with 3-days in the office in Greenbelt, MD and, 2-days remote.

As an Assistant Account Manager, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage details for Certificates of Insurance (COIs), process endorsements, billing and audits and provide responses and resolutions when applicable.
  • Provide effective and timely responses to prospective and existing clients and respond to carrier requests for information when applicable.
  • Assist with policy reviews, process endorsements and audits for new and existing accounts as well as overseeing billing.
  • Attend renewal meetings.
