Description

Fales Grand General Trading LLC is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager with solid experience in Odoo Accounting. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger activities, while also acting as a strong support to the Accounts Manager and a potential future team leader. This role requires excellent financial acumen, Odoo ERP expertise and strong communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MBA in Finance/Accounting is must.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Hands-on expertise in Odoo ERP Accounting (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations and financial compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
  • Willing to undergo a 30–45-day trial period.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage Accounts Payable processes, including invoice verification, payment scheduling and vendor reconciliation.
  • Handle Accounts Receivable activities such as customer invoicing, payment follow-ups and collection tracking.
  • Accurately record financial transactions and ensure proper documentation within Odoo ERP.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly financial and management reports.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, maintain ledgers and monitor expenses.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure transparency, accuracy and compliance in financial operations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support during internal and statutory audits.
  • Serve as a backup to the Accounts Manager when required.
  • Take initiative in leading projects or tasks and be prepared to transition into a future team leadership role.
