Responsibilities

PURPOSE

7IM Finance team is now looking to add two new Assistant Accountants to a team of 19 to support the Group
through the next phase of its growth.Operating within a pooled team model, the role is designed to provide flexible support across multiple finance
functions, including management accounting, financial reporting, and transactional finance.
This role is ideal for individuals seeking to build a strong foundation in finance while contributing to a high performing,
collaborative team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The pooled structure allows Assistant Accountants to develop a broad skillset, respond dynamically to business
needs, and gain exposure to the complexities of financial services operations. Key responsibilities will include

but not be limited to:

  • Month-end and year-end processes - assist with journal preparation, accruals, prepayments and auditqueries.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations - prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts.
  • Business partnering - support the wider business through the preparation and presentation of budgettrackers to budget owners.
  • Sales ledger process – raise invoices and recharges for both our Funds and Private Wealth clients.
  • Transaction processing and review - process and review financial transactions including invoices andexpense claims.
  • Support our systems strategy improvement roadmap.
  • Assist with managing the multiple Finance inboxes.
  • Other, as reasonably required by line manager and 7IM.
