JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our finance team, to aid in the smooth running of the Finance Department.
The ideal applicant should have good attention to detail and be able to work in a busy environment with interruptions. They should be able to plan their workload so immediate demands and deadlines are fulfilled, and work well liaising and collaborating with other departments.
Educated to at least GCSE standard, you must have prior experience working as an Assistant Accountant preferably at the same level. Must be familiar with computerised cash management system, and computer literate to include excel spreadsheets.

Experience:

• Assistant Accountant: 1 year (preferred

• Reconciling bank statements (GBP, USD, & EUR).
• Updating and reconciling cash flow forecast daily.
• Managing numerous bank account balances
• Monthly bank reconciliations between bank and Business Central
• Preparing monthly journals for multiple accruals and prepayments.
• Maintaining BC creating new users, managing mileage rates and expense types.
• Raise payments for Company Expenses
• Monthly intercompany cross charges, and reconciliation of balances.
• Maintain Car and FLT lease schedules and post journals
• Post GRNI accruals
• Reconcile Payroll and post payroll journal
• Provide support during the year end audit.
