QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting and administration roles, preferably in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:ACCOUNTING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry, processing invoices, and maintaining financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and process payments, including vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and utility bills.
  • Support in preparing monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
  • Assist with tax filings, VAT submissions, and audits as required.
  • Maintain an organized record of all financial documents for easy retrieval.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage office correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and courier services.
  • Handle inventory and procurement of office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Maintain employee attendance records and assist with payroll processing.
  • Organize meetings, maintain schedules, and manage appointments for senior staff.
  • Support HR with onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and assist in preparing documentation.
