FULL DESCRIPTION:

HS Accountants and Consultants are leaders in Accountancy Compliance and Tax Saving Solutions. They require an Assistant Accountant to be part of a growing team. Working closely with the Director, you will enjoy the challenges of being a key player in the Operational team, by ensuring client records are kept up to date, and staying abreast of company administrative duties.

  • GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) or equivalent, including Math’s and English.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of Monthly Payroll and CIS Returns
  • Keeping bookkeeping records up to date
  • Assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure software platforms, such as QuickBooks, Xero, HubSpot, etc. are kept up to date
  • Assist in the analysis of financial data
  • Assist in the Preparation of VAT Returns
  • Raising Invoices and recording payments with the necessary support
  • Assist in the onboarding of new clients
  • Assist in ensuring the highest level document and process controls are in place
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks
