Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Assistant Accountant at BGIS, you will play an integral role within the Corporate Finance team, assisting in month-end processes, journal entries, and supporting the wider business with transactional tasks. You will have the opportunity to grow your career while working with key stakeholders and providing support to both internal teams and external clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and execute monthly recurring recharges, accruals, and overheads
Support month-end reconciliation and balance sheet preparation
Maintain corporate cashbooks and BGIS bank account register
Handle key head office supplier accounts (e.g., novated lease, Cabcharge, Uber)
Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring financial control and compliance
Collaborate with other business units to foster positive relationships and provide financial guidance
