JOB OVERVIEW

We are a Central London based Property Developer. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Accounts.
  • Property background desirable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft is required. Proficiency in SAGE 50 a must.
  • AAT qualified or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of financial services and principles of financial management.
  • Experience in accounts payable and general financial accounting practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently when required.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Support month-end closing processes by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to provide insights on financial performance and assist in budgeting activities.
  • Assist with any ad-hoc financial projects or analysis as required by management.
