The Role As Assistant Accountant, you’ll join the Flight Operations Accounting & Controls team within Group Financial Control. Your main focus will be checking, analysing and processing invoices using the SkyMetrix system, supporting the accounting, reporting and control environment for Flight Operations costs. You’ll provide stakeholders with consistently accurate insight and information, and play a key part in improving our processes. What we’re looking for Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and present key issues Pro-active and enquiring mindset, able to find problems and propose solutions Ability to explain complex financial matters to both finance and non-finance contacts Excellent time management across multiple tasks and projects Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint Strong academic record Experience with SkyMetrix/AirPas is desirable but not essential What you’ll get in return Up to 20%25 maximum bonus 5%25 pension contributions Medical Cash Plan Excellent staff travel benefits 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays Annual credit towards an easyJet holiday Various flexible benefits and extras Practicalities This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
