Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:



    • Responding to financial inquiries from internal stakeholders to support business decisions.

    • Examining financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Reviewing ageing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), taking appropriate actions to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
    • Managing Prepayment on Stock accounts, collaborating with the Purchasing team to ensure accurate valuation of stock in transit.
    • Supporting the month-end closing process, including expense accruals, and prepare bank, gateway, and credit card (Airwallex) reconciliations.
    • Assisting with monthly intercompany recharges and BAS returns preparation.
    • Contributing to the annual budgeting process.
    • Participating in half-year and year-end audits and statutory reporting.
    • Collaborating with the broader Finance team and internal stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

    TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD BE:



      • A university degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar)

      • Be working towards a professional qualification such as CA or CPA (partially qualified candidates are encouraged to apply)
      • Some experience working within Finance or Accounting, ideally in Retail, eCommerce, or FMCG
      • Familiarity with accounting software (experience with SAP is advantageous)
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships
      • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
