READ ON IF YOU - Are studying towards a professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA - Enjoy working in a fast-paced finance environment and thrive on delivering accurate results - Can be in our fantastic Luton head office 3 x per week THE TEAM The Order to Cash (O2C) team reports into Group Financial Control and is responsible for accounting for circa £9bn of revenue. The team is made up of Senior Finance Manager, Finance Managers and Finance Analysts, supporting reporting and accounting. You will gain first-hand experience of how every booking is accounted for and how we interface with other business functions, particularly IT and Customer Services. THE ROLE As Assistant Revenue Accountant, you will report to the Finance Manager and support all accounting activities for passenger and partner revenue. You will deliver month-end activities and engage in external audit deliverables. You will help create certainty and confidence in the numbers delivered and communicate risks and opportunities to the business. - Maintenance, finance control and accounting for credit shells including credit files, refund shells and credit vouchers - Ownership of key Revenue areas including month end journal posting, balance sheet reconciliations and process improvements - Provide support in managing risk and opportunities with the business - Assist in preparation of budgets and re-forecast for designated areas of responsibility - Assist with revenue projects to ensure timely delivery - Support Partner Revenue as necessary to ensure robustness and full coverage of Revenue Accounting - Assist with reconciliation and accounting of EasyJet Holidays transactions with EasyJet Airlines WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Studying towards a professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA - Pro-active and enquiring mind-set - Ability to identify problems and provide proposals for change and improvement - Manage own time across variety of tasks and projects to deliver to deadlines - High attention to detail and ability to summarise complex information for both financial and non-financial stakeholders - Excellent Excel skills (up to basic macros) - Strong team player who can build effective relationships across functions - Month-end experience, including journal creation and posting and balance sheet reconciliations desirable WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN - Up to 20%25 maximum bonus - 7%25 pension contributions - Medical Cash Plan - Excellent staff travel benefits - 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays - Annual credit towards an easyJet holiday - Various flexible benefits and extras PRACTICALITIES This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
