  Oji Fibre Solutions QLD Pty Ltd, part of the rapidly expanding global Oji Group, specialises in the manufacturer of innovative packaging solutions. Our state of the art cardboard manufacturing plant based in Yatala, and our Foodservice distribution centre in Larapinta QLD, produce and supply corrugated boxes and food packaging solutions which play an important part in the presentation, protection, and transportation of customer products in the Horticulture, Meat, Industrial, FMCG and Paper Products segments.
  We are currently seeking a highly detail orientated, hands on Assistant Accountant to join the QLD commercial team based at the Yatala site, on a part time basis (3.5 days per week). This is a key financial based position reporting directly to the State Commercial Manager QLD whilst collaboratively working alongside multiple department heads to gather relevant data, which will assist the business to achieve its required goals.
  The successful incumbent will be responsible for however not limited to – all finance-related transactions including month end accounting, journals, gathering data to manage fixed asset process including raising capex requests, balance sheet reconciliations, Accounts Payable (local and overseas transactions) and assist with month end reporting to the head office, whilst supporting the State Commercial Manager as required. This role will have a predominate focus on the Foodservice business, yet will be expected to understand and support all QLD sites if required to ensure continued financial compliance at all times.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Degree qualification in commerce, accounting, business and/or studying towards CPA/CA
• Minimum 2 years financial/accounting experience
• Prior experience/exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills – including Excel
• Solid systems knowledge – SAP/BPC/Hyperion advantageous

Strong communication skills, pride in your attention to detail and drive to complete accurate reports on time is paramount to you being a success in this role.
