Role PurposeWe are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our collaborative finance team and support day to day accounting activities across our Australian and New Zealand operations. Reporting to a Senior Accountant, this role is well suited to an early career accountant looking to build strong technical foundations and gain exposure to a broad commercial environment.This is an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills, learn from experienced finance professionals, and grow your career within a supportive team.

• Key Accountabilities:Assist with month end processes including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Support preparation of financial reports in line with statutory and internal requirements.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as required.
• Support audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with data integrity across finance systems.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support improvements to finance processes and systems.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve finance related queries.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as required.

• Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, or near completion.
• One to two years experience in an accounting or finance role, or relevant graduate experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
• Clear communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
