The Role

• Month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with BAS and GST returns
• Prepare FBT returns (high volume)
• Daily bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support process improvement in a manual environment as projects kick off

Your Background

To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you will be degree-qualified and will meet most of the following criteria:

• 1 to 2 years of working experience in a similar Assistant Accountant level role
• Working towards CPA/CA qualification
• Comfortable in a manual process heavy environment
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in professional services will be highly regarded
