Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates looking to kick-start a career in finance and gain practical, hands-on experience.
Please note: This position is 50% office-based and 50% field-based, involving regular travel to clients, banks, and vendors. A valid driving license and access to transportation are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Process and submit invoices, cheques, payments, and receipts
  • Reconcile bank and cash transactions regularly
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and files
  • Assist in monthly financial closing and reporting tasks
  • Support budget tracking and daily expense monitoring
  • Prepare basic financial reports and summaries
  • Assist with internal audits and compliance checks
  • Deliver and collect documents from clients, vendors, and banks (e.g., invoices, cheques, payment slips)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
  • High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • Must possess a valid driving license and be comfortable with regular travel as part of daily duties
