Treesa Builders, a trusted name in the construction and infrastructure sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support our finance team in Vancouver. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for numbers and a strong foundation in accounting who are looking to grow in a fast-paced and professional environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role, preferably in construction or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Canadian accounting standards and regulations is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and process transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Help manage expense reports, petty cash, and vendor accounts.
  • Assist with payroll processing and government remittances.
  • Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documentation for audits and internal use.
  • Collaborate with the senior accountant and finance team to ensure smooth daily operations.
