THE OPPORTUNITY:

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the UK Life Reporting team as an Assistant Accountant.
You will be responsible for supporting the team in delivering its quarterly and annual financial reporting responsibilities under IFRS and Local Statutory. As part of the role, you will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial information in order to balance financial performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction. As a member of the team you will play a vital part in helping the department to achieve its operational objectives and ensure the team delivers a high-quality service.

Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Examples of responsibilities are:

  • Preparation and review of key reports during quarter and year end periods, to support the delivery of all IFRS reporting requirements and commentary.
  • Ongoing analysis / oversight of SAP ledgers, supporting with intercompany balance queries, cash management and journal entries/queries;
  • Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts and year end audit;
  • Continue to challenge and improve our processes;
  • Provide broader team support as required.
