Description

Responsibilities: ▪ Analyze data and results to provide meaningful explanations of results and trends and provide recommendations that are relevant to the business ▪ Prepare actuarial reports and results summaries in appropriate form for stakeholders ▪ Coordinate with other actuarial and technical (e.g. investment) team s on assumptions, methodology, results and information required ▪ Manage experience studies ▪ Assist in planning and managing workflow for the team in line with priorities ▪ Review work of junior staff for consistency, reasonableness, comprehensiveness and suitability for purpose ▪ Provides ad ho c support for the local business in line with priorities ▪ Support the business units in handling reinsurance arrangements and queries ▪ Propose and implement improvements to regular departmental processes, analyses, reports and documentation. ▪ Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methods and financial results ▪ Maintain up to date documentation of processes Qualifications: ▪ Passed SOA preliminary exams or equivalent ▪ At least four years’ experience in the Life Insurance industry ▪ Good command of business English, both in written and spoken form ▪ Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Actuarial Analyst About AXA Hong Kong and Macau AXA Hong Kong and Macau is a member of the AXA Group, a leading global insurer with presence in 52 markets and serving 92 million customers worldwide.
