Assistant Administrator – Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Central Nursing Home

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Administrator to join our leadership team at our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This is a unique opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to contribute to the success of a mission-driven organization committed to delivering high-quality care to our residents.
About the Role:
The Assistant Administrator will work closely with the Administrator to oversee the daily operations of the facility, support departmental leaders, and help ensure regulatory compliance, staff satisfaction, and resident well-being. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of long-term care operations and a passion for leadership in senior care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Administrator in managing daily facility operations
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Collaborate with department heads to maintain high-quality resident care
  • Help oversee staffing, training, and employee relations
  • Participate in audits, surveys, and inspections, and help implement corrective actions
  • Support the development of strategic initiatives to enhance facility performance
  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and staff
  • Monitor quality assurance programs and participate in performance improvement plans
  • Step in as acting Administrator when needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
  • Active Nursing Home Administrator license or eligibility preferred (or working toward licensure)
  • 2+ years of management experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
  • Strong knowledge of SNF regulations and healthcare operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage teams, solve problems, and adapt to challenges
