Description:

  • ASIC is seeking a full-time Assistant Analyst to join their Misconduct & Breach Reporting Team
  • Temporary (12 month) position based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth
  • Salary starting from $57,209 (plus 15.4% superannuation) depending on experience

    The team
    The Misconduct & Breach Reporting team is responsible for the assessment and escalation of reports of alleged misconduct and breach notifications received by ASIC from members of the public and regulated business, and of statutory reports lodged by liquidators.

The role

  • Reviewing, assessing and managing less complex reports of misconduct, general enquiries, applications for Assetless Administration Funding, statutory reports and other activities
  • Recognising when issues require escalation, so that regulatory risk can be appropriately managed
  • Communicating with members of the public and/or ASIC’s regulated population about less complex issues
  • Sharing knowledge to develop the skills of other team members
  • Ensuring the maintenance and accurate recording of several internal databases

About you

  • A high school / secondary education certificate or diploma
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience in following procedures and defined processes accurately and in a timely manner
  • Experience using a variety of software applications
