Description

Register orthotic prescriptions using SystmOne task system. Adhere to departmental procedures to ensure that all prescriptions are traceable throughout the production process. Supply information to the podiatry Musculoskeletal (MSK) team concerning orthotic production. Ensure that all advisory information, including instructions for use, accompanies the orthotic upon dispatch.
Organise personal workload to fulfil departmental production aims. Maintain adequate stock levels, re-ordering as required. Send appliance materials to podiatrists as required. Record, assess and where required, provide production information.
Adhere to all Trust and departmental polices and understand procedures and guidelines. Actively participate in team meetings and work well under the guidance of a Podiatry Appliance Technician. Be willing to work towards attaining a qualification in appliance/orthotic manufacture
