ASSISTANT ARCHIVIST PLANTS AND EMPIRE PROJECT
Due to Archives Revealed funding from The National Archives, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a project archivist to join our team, helping to unlocking our historical archive and make it more available in new inclusive ways to new audiences. This will be achieved through the cataloguing of personal archives of individuals involved in botany in the British Empire, and a series of co-designed Community workshops led by arts facilitators. The archivist will also co-curate a small exhibition and booklet about how Communities can access and use Kew’s archives. There will be potential to participate in other outreach activities at Kew, including Kew’s Community Open Week.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
