Description Seeking an entry-level individual to support their archivist. This role involves managing a significant backlog of legacy material, including tapes and digital files, to get them organized and digitized. Key Responsibilities: Inventorying boxes of tapes and files on hard drives. Logging materials into a centralized database. Physically searching for and locating items. Gathering and cross-referencing data from various sources. Performing repetitive administrative tasks using office tools, particularly Excel spreadsheets. Working with a high degree of autonomy once initial training is complete. Qualifications: Familiarity with general office and computer skills. Ability to handle administrative tasks without getting bored. Bright and willing to learn. Entry-level experience is acceptable; this could be a "foot in the door" opportunity. Nice to have: Familiarity with media, film studies, or broadcast experience; passion for public broadcast.
