This role is based full time at our Kilbirnie Street Head Office, Glasgow.
About the role
We’re looking for someone to support the daily running of our IT Parts store and Asset Management team, and to ensure strong, effective communication between our customers and employees.
The ideal candidate will be a fantastic team player with great interpersonal skills and a commitment to learning and developing in their role. High levels of attention to detail and great ability to follow established team processes are required, as well as the ability to work effectively in a busy environment to deliver excellent customer service.
Day-to-day duties
Process tickets within our service management system.
Respond to customer escalations within agreed business SLA.
Process orders and return paperwork accurately
Handle incoming and outgoing calls and IT-based communications.
Assist with goods in and out of IT storeroom.
Process returned IT hardware as part of the decommissioning process
General storeroom housekeeping.
Essential skills
Computer literate – good PC Skills including basic experience of Microsoft Teams and Outlook
Communication skills – ability to work with others in an enthusiastic and amiable manner
Team-working skills – ability to work in a team to achieve goals
Work independently – good standard of self-discipline and organisation
Customer-facing skills – previous experience with customer service
Appearance and attitude – courteous, tidy and positive outlook
Nice to have (but not essential)
Call management – previous call centre/phones office experience
Previous storeroom, warehouse or logistics experience
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
