MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

To deliver high-quality instruction in computational and theoretical physics at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, fostering students’ understanding of complex physical concepts and mathematical modeling techniques. The position also involves developing innovative course content, supervising research projects, and contributing to the academic mission of the department through scholarly research and interdisciplinary collaboration

REQUIRED SKILLS

The selected candidate will be expected to establish a systematic research program, contribute to curricular development, and participate in service activities, including committee work, student advising, and fostering industry collaborations. The successful candidate must initiate and lead an independent research program capable of securing external funding. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for teaching physics courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels while providing mentorship and guidance to a diverse student body.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Computational or theoretical Physics or closely related fields from an accredited, highly ranked institution. The candidate should have strong record of originality and productivity in high-quality research, as well as a minimum of three years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels.. Experience in developing computational approaches and implementing AI tools in research is an added advantage
